get Keyboard Layout on Linux?

Hi all,

I am new in Linux, I want to write a program to get current Keyboard Layout on my computer (such as GetKeyboardLayout or GetKeyboardLayoutName on Windows). I saved my time to search on the Internet but no found. Pls share me your experiences!

Take a look in KDE or Gnome sources, they list all xkb names pretty well.
