gconf database on nfs

hello! I am planning to migrate the gconf database on my client machines to one shared on NFS as to make default and mandatory settings for gnome apps more manageable, but I'd like to get some feedback from you first... Any shortcomings? Worth the effort? Does it "just work"? Many thanks! regards, andre

ps all clients and servers are running debian sarge
