fvwm desktop color


can someone help me get my .fvwm2rc file to get a different color other than gray as my background. i dont need a picture just a different color dont really like the gray but i dont need to be too complex you know

I use qiv to both set my background color & put an image there. Since you just want a color, try xsetroot:

AddToFunc "StartFunction"
+ I Exec xsetroot -solid black
