full screen mode


I use 2 monitors using twinview on a nvidia card. When i maximise some of it goes full screen is spans across the 2 monitors is there any way to make it span across one not both?? i use gnome as a display manager

there is a xinerama mode within the twinview settings. try adding [code]option "Xinerama" "on" to the device section, but my personally favoured way of doing it is to ignore all the twinview stuff completely and configure the two seperate devices independently, as they are totally independently accesible, unlike (afaik) Radeon cards for example. there's plenty of info about dual screens in our wiki.
