Frostwire installation

Hello, I have been using Linux for all of 30 mins and am a bit stumped!

I want to install Frostwire. I have downloaded it and then opened it in GDebi package Installer. When I click install application I get the error message:

Failed to run gdebi-gtk '--non-interactive' '/home/simon/Desktop/frostwire-4.13.1.5-1.i586.deb' as user root.

The underlying authorization mechanism (sudo) does not allow you to run this program. Contact the system administrator.

I was previously asked for a password which clearly I got wrong. How do I rectify this and install the programme?

p.s. I have never done anything in a Terminal before so be gentle!!

Thanks!

Try making yourself root (su -), and then repeat the installation process.
