from windows to linux

question.. if programs are ported from windows to linux say for example adobe porting from adobe photoshop would they still charge the same amount of money for their product and will they allow for the source code to be available?? an because linux is a free OS dose that mean that they loose out??? because if they do port their products i suspect that a lot of freeloaders out their would be complaining of having to pay for it while the rest of software on linux is free.

well whats your comment on this??

and another question is WHY don't they port and still charge money for it if that be the case to enable those that are coming from windows to have the same use of packages but on a different platform.

ps i know about gimp lol but i was using adobe as an example .... i sure would like to see 3d studio max come on linux along with many others
