fluxbox transparent shaded aterm

hi , i've got a simple question.

is it possible in fluxbox to get a transparent 50% shaded aterm ??

in kde i could use the command
Code:
aterm -tr -sh 50%
but when i do this in fluxbox , i just get a 50% grey aterm

Code:
aterm -tr
works though, just when i add -sh it loses its transparency

also
Code:
aterm -tr -trsb
the -trsb (transparent side bar) doesn't work , it isn't transparent

fbsetgb uses xv as background setter btw ...

i'll add a screenshot in a few hours ...

Be careful with fbsetbg--it's just a wrapper that searches for the best app to set the background. If you don't have Esetroot, feh, wmsetbg, etc it may default to an app that doesn't truly support transparency. There's a ton of info at:
http://www.xs4all.nl/~hanb/software/...x/fbsetbg.html

I don't have any problems with wmsetbg, so I haven't bothered installing Esetroot. Just make sure you have one of the first few listed on the above site, and you shouldn't have any trouble. This is my setup using wmsetbg:

Edit
I didn't see that fbsetbg was using xv to set the bg--that's definitely the problem. I'd go with Esetroot (hard to build from what I've read--see fbsetbg site above) or wmsetbg. Good luck.
