fluxbox problem

hi

i installed fluxbox
and created a file ~/.xinitrc to start fluxbox from the commandline

fluxbox starts ok but when i rightclick on the mittle menu on the bottom of the screen, all text is in an unreadable characterset :s

how can you change this?

characterset seems ok now in fluxbox but i can't figure out how to change the keyboad layout.

i've done dpkg-reconfigure console-data and dpkg-reconfigure locales
but it stays on us

my fluxbox seems completely fucked up...

even after a fresh install :s

I think keyboard layout is to do with X server, not with flux. From my xorg.conf:

Section "InputDevice"
Identifier "Keyboard0"
Driver "kbd"
Option "XkbLayout" "gb" # <-- layout here is GB (great britain)
Option "XkbModel" "pc105"
