Then I do not understand why they are installed in a subdirectory of /usr/lib. It did this from the DEB package I downloaded for Ubuntu (and probably the same happens for Debian, Mint and other debianesques). If someone knows why, I would like to understand.

Anyway, I am marking this thread as solved, although I do not consider the solution as the best possible.
