Question Where can I find the "make" & "cc" packages??

Where can I download and install the following?
1. "make" utility
2. "cc" compiler package
I cannot proceed with further installation of the downloaded gcc package.
My distribution CD does not have these items in the development section.
FYI, I run Mandrake 9.1

I typed in rpm -q --whatprovides make
The answer was:

The version may be different for LM 9.2 however.

You can use the rpmdrake program as root and do a search from there.

The compiler package is called gcc.
Typing in as root urpmi gcc will install it.
