Favorite Mail Clients

The last thing keeping my WinXP partition alive is M$ Outlook. Once I replace that it's all over! I've been reading various reports on different clients and was hoping for some input on what everyone else uses.

Right now my best bet is looking to be StarOffice. Other options being the Mozilla suite with built-in client, Thunderbird (I'm using and loving FireFox), or OpenOffice (i think that's the name).

What I need:
Ability to manage 20+ email addresses painlessly
Powerful filters (I have 25 different concurrent rules running in Outlook)
Templates
Reply with templates (I've only ever seen Eudora have this)

Search features

Most importantly:
The ability to import my current .5G of emails I currently have without losing attachments. (I don't care about html/rtf encoding, I'm one of those people that thinks everyone should be using plain text).

Thoughts and opinions?

Evolution and Thunderbird are my favorites. I especially like Thunderbird because it has great spam-combating features built right in.
