Question extlinux to boot ext2 USB flash

I am having trouble the the EXTLINUX command to make my EXT2 USB flash disk bootable. I have no problems with syslinux command making my USB flash disk run on a FAT filesystem, however KYLIX will not run on a FAT file system - hence my reason for wanting a EXT2 file system. when I run extlinux it keeps saying that the folder is not a directory. I have tried everything. Please can someone give me the exact command to make it work.
I have tried:

./extlinux /mnt/sda1_removable

Thank you,
Weavind

I did it. So simple. i didn't change the .cfg to .conf of the isolinux.cfg file when I renamed it. works beautifully now, so no replies needed.

thanks
