.exe packages


hello,
is there a way to install .exe packages on linux ? how??

Im not a linux guru but ive never heard of such a thing. If your referring to .exe`s from windows, No they will not work completely different file structure. If your trying to use windows programs in linux you can try to use wine, I think its some kind of link between windows and linux but that is like putting a vw engine in a ferrari, lol.

Do you mean windows exe files? if so install wine, or winex, or codeweavers, or win4lin or vmware.

wine is GPL aka freeware but does not run files dependent on direct X

If you are trying to unzip windows compresed packages in .exe format just do unzip <filename> and it will unzip it
