evolution groupware??

HI,

I am looking for an share calendar/contact/task solution where user are in windows desktop. I did a `apt-cache search evolution` and it give me the following result:

evolution - The groupware suite
evolution-data-server - evolution database backend server (The data server, called "Evolution Data Server" is responsible for managing calendar and addressbook information.)

I know there is a windows port of evolution (http://shellter.sourceforge.net/evolution/) and i wonder if can put postfix + the above 2 packages to form a groupware mail server?? I google around but can't find much info about setting up such email groupware.

Besides, do anyone know much about icalendar standard? What is it try to compete with?

Thx in advanced.

chris

Hi

I actually downloaded the Windows port of Evolution Yesterday, and I am looking at removing all MS Office applications from our company Desktops if it is stable, We are already using Open office.

For the Back end and Mail Collaboration Suite I am using Zimbra..awesome product, go and have a look
