Error in MD5 checksums

I'm trying to ftp a .sh file from my desktop to my Linux server. The ftp downloads a portion of the file and then it "fails". I'm using WS_FTP on my desktop. Any suggestions? Thanks

if you're downloading the file in text mode, the newlines would be changed. try binary.

Changed to Binary

Yea, I tried changing it to binary but I get the same results; the ftp only transfers part of the file.

Can you get any file to work?

I used to zip files a very long time ago. Might try that and see.

Any other tools like rcp, tftp in this setup?

MDS Checksum

Yea, I can ftp other files to the server using the same procedure. But I haven't ftp'd any files as large as this one yet. Could it be a size restraint? I'm using WS_FTP Pro which will automatically split large files up into sections when ftp'ing them to save time and WS_FTP Pro did not automatically split this file up, which tells me that even though it's a large file it's not large enough for the program to split it up.
