Email from command line / postfix problem

Hello. My computer is on a home internet connection, and uses dyndns.org for DNS. As a result, my IP doesn't reverse validate to my host.

I've been working with a PHP program to send emails. The PHP mail function works fine (using the sendmail wrapper for Postfix) but, obviously, the emails just bounce back from any real domain's mail server, as they won't reverse validate.

Is there any way to:

1) setup postfix so that it will SEND mail via my ISP's SMTP server - i.e. log in with a username and password and act as if it is an email client? Not just simple relaying...

OR

2) Is there any simple command-line email client out there that will send email via SMTP itself, and I can configure for my ISP's server?

Thanks.

Thanks. I made the required changes, but my ISP's server is still bouncing the mail, both from PHP and from Pine.

I believe their server requires sending SMTP form their server, logged in with username and password, as a mail client would.
