Hi everyone.

I'm looking for a program that has E-Mail Read Receipt, E-Mail Delivery Status and E-Mail tracking number. I want to implement these things to my E-Mail server.

For example, I have books@books.com and I want that whoever is sending an e-mail to that address, i want an automatic auto respond that the server of books.com has received the message and i want this with a trackign number.

I know that E-Mail Read Receipt and E-Mail Delivery Status message can be obtained from microsoft outlook and other programs, but i want the server to handle these read receipts and delivery status and tracking number. Is there any application that can do this ? If so, please tell me the name, i don't care if it cost. Or, if there is an open source for these things i want to know.

AFAIK DSN is protocol, not vendor, specific. I think the application term you're looking for is "ticketing system" as sending back a ticket would be proof enough IMHO the mail was stored for processing.

Can you be more specific ? I want an application name (in order to download it) i don't care if it cost or not. And... i still want a read receipt or atleast a status delivery e-mail besides the tracking number.
