Hi guys, i've just migrated myself to mandrake 10 linux from windows XP and have been able to get everything running fine, and ive been using it for almost 2 weeks now and i have decided its time for me to fully convert to linux over windows. I use MS outlook for contacts, calendar and email. I have looked at KDE Contact which i have installed on my linux system and like it very much, i have quite a lot of info in my current outlook which i will manually enter in again to Kontact(i dont want to import from .pst even if you can because i have lots to clean up and redo).
My question is, does Kontact keep a filelike a .pst file in outlook that contains all my info in it that i can backup if i need to reinstall mandrake or jsut for the purpose of having a backup if something goes wrong?
I hope it does because if the stability of my system so far is anything to go by then Kontact will do me good
Or is there another pretty looking Outlook replacement like Kontact that you might reccomend, again i dont need to import all the details from pst i will do it all manually, i just don't want to have to do it again if something goes wrong as i have a crapload of stuff to put in
