Question Dialin server PPP. Please Help.

Hi all

I have just installed Linux Debian with mgetty and pppd to allow the users to dialin.

I have follow the instructions according to the docos and a few hints from the group with some success.

My problem is that currently I can dialin using windows and have a connection with the Linux box. I can ping the Linux box, however I can not surf the NET using the browser. It is as if there is a problem with the DNS or the IP is not forwarding.

I have checked the Windows machine to validate that it has the correct DNS IP number, but I have no luck pinging other web site.

I thought it might be the IPChains rules so I flushed all the rules with no lucks.

Anyone with any ideas please help.

Much appreciated.

Jake
