Debian Lenny ipt_mac module can not be found

Hi everyone,

I'm trying to setup iptables using mac address filtering.

For what I have read by now, the ipt_mac module is needed.

When I do

modprobe ipt_mac

only xt_mac module is beeing loaded, which as I have read is for ipv6 only. The true ipt_mac module is not being loaded and is not to be found by

dpkg-query -S ipt_mac.so

or by

dpkg-query -S ipt_mac.ko

I already have compiled and installed the netfilter-extensions-modules, but it did not helped at all.

Kernel used: 2.6.26-686

Anybody?

Thanks in advance,
cheerios,
christopher
