DCOP error

I cannot launch any application in the KDE! I get an error message "KLauncher couldn't be reached via DCOP".
How do I fix this error?

dcop/mcop errors often stem from stale temporary
files ... log out of X and rm /tmp/kde-<username>
and /tmp/mcop-<username> directories ...

klauncher may have been killed. Try the following.

ps xa | grep klauncher

if it isn't listed then do a

kdeinit +kluancher

I have noticed that some *.html pages f-up konqueror and kill klauncher. I then get those blasted errors too...I dislike having to logout or reboot; it's linux for the love of god! lol.

Hope it helps,
cg
