Angry DCOP error

I am running Red Hat 7.3
Every time I try to launch an application I get this message"Klauncher could not be reached via DCOP"
What does this mean and how do I fix it so that this does not happen any more.

I have this same problem on my system (Suse 8.2, KDE 3.2) and I had hoped they would have fixed it in the upgrade to 3.2. Alas, it hasn't happened. The problem, as I understand it, is that KDE can't handle it when you are loogged in as one user and then execute a command as another user. For example, I run konqueror as root through the command line at the same time I am logged in as user lawrencegoodman. The root konqueror will come up, but then when I try to execute another command I get that lousy DCOP error message.

As far as I know, and I have scoured the internet for a solution, there is only a temporary fix:
type "kdeinit dcop," which resets dcop and allows you to go on without that error message.

I really wish there was a solution to this as the error msg is quite annoying. All the same, I think KDE 3.2 is a huge improvement and I'm grateful for all the bugs that were fixed.
