Cron question.

I just set up one of my home's computers as an ftp server, for domestic use and file sharing using vsftpd. What I would like to konw is if it's possible to set cron to send an e-mail with the statistics log attached to an outside mail account. Suppose I would want it to get to my yahoo mail accout so I could check the mail in the morning at work, while the statistics file is sent on a daily basis, and in that way I can know in an acurate manner the usage of the server without having to be infront of the computer or at one of the networked computers to telnet it or ssh it.

If this is possible, how would I accomplish this?

I would like the server to send the e-mail with the statistics file attached every day at (let's say) 6 am so when I get to work at about 8 am I already have the mail in my inbox and can check the past day's statistics...

Any insights will be very much appreciated.
