configuring internet

I have Mandrake Linux 10.1
Has anyone configured dialup modem connexantHSF 56k modem. If so what driver is good?

I have configured a ADSL connection it is OK
Is it true that only either a dialup network or adsl network can be configured in Linux?

If they can be independently configured can one connect both networks on separate ISPs at the same time. ( I can do this with Windows XP)

you should read the INSTALL file thats located in hsflinmodem-5.03.27.tar.gz

1. Decompress the package
tar -xzf hsflinmodem-<version>.tar.gz

2. Go to the package directory
cd hsflinmodem-<version>

3. type
make install

4. To configure the modem type
hsfconfig
