compile error


ive just installed slackware 9.0 on a box and gcc all of the other gcc modules gcc c++ etc binutils etc and im getting this error....

try doing an ldconfig command. that way the configure file knows where the librarys are.

ok, first find out where you cpp/ directory is in. its supposed to be in your /lib/ dir but apparently not.
once you found it go back to your wget directory and type in ./configure --help.
there you should be able to readjust the CPP directory variable by entering:
./configure CPP=<where ever the directory is>

give this a shot.

the only other file called cpp is /usr/bin/cpp

i'm thinking that Slackware 9.0 doesnt have the required cpp program.
you might want to update cpp or updat to Slackware 9.1 or 10.0.
sory but thats all i can think of o_0
