Command line printing

Hello Forum,
I'm not sure where to post this question. Hope this forum is ok.
I want to make clients print to a postscript printer attached to a server on lp0 at 192.168.0.15.
The server seems to offer the service by ipp on port 631.
Could someone help me with the correct command to permanently configure the clients in the same subnet so they will make this printer the default and always send print jobs to the printer.
Thanks for help

In KDE for example, you would create a printer with the URL "ipp://192.168.0.15:631/printers/<printername>" and make it the default printer.
