samba printing command line

I'm using lpadmin. we did this in class and I'm trying to do it on my 2 computer network. I have a deskjet932c sitting off of tommy on workgroup TMOJ. that is the queue name, deskjet932c. I can't the device uri right to save the world. I took the firewalls down too in order to try it.

any one know the right format for the smb?

the actual command I was using:

lpadmin -p junior -v smb://username: password@TMOJ/tommy/deskjet932c -P/usr/..../HP/DeskJet... -E

I'm using the queue name.....should I be using the printer name?

I just use 'cups' and if you must, use 'links' to access the web config interface.

lpadmin -p junior -v ipp://10.45.78.83-deskjet932c/junior -P /usr/share/cups/model/HP/DeskJet_932C-hpdj.ppd.gz -E

no luck.

lpadmin -p deskjet932c -v lpd://10.45.78.83-deskjet932c/LPT1 -P /usr/share/cups/model/HP/DeskJet_932C-hpdj.ppd.gz -E

I still would like to get samba on command line.

smb://user

assword@workgroup/server/printer,
smb://user

assword@host/printer,
and smb://server/printer.

the workgroup is TMOJ, the host is 10.45.78.83 or tommy the printer queue name is deskjet932c pasword=xxxxx

I thought server was 10.45.78.83 and printer was deskjet932c.

the above syntax is from suse 10.0 help.

when I try doing it through the GUI.... the lookup doesn't work. it can't find deskjet932c(remote queue name). firewall is down.
