CISCO Packet Tracer


need to install these
Attempting to install package now
error: failed dependencies:
libXrandr.so.2 is needed by PacketTracer-5.3.3-1
libpng12.so.0 is needed by PacketTracer-5.3.3-1
libpng12.so.0(PNG12_0) is needed by PacketTracer-5.3.3-1
rpmlib(FileDigests) <= 4.6.0-1 is needed by PacketTracer-5.3.3-1
I have managed to download the first one, but how to install it?

if you run "yum localinstall cicscowhateveritscalled.rpm" then you should find yum (presuming this is a yum based system... please provide more useful information) will grab the missing packages for you, if it can.

This linux is called ALT LINUX , is a Russian Linux, it use Synaptic, with rpm, not the .deb!
YUM doesn't work on it!

...and since you didn't bother telling us that, how are we supposed to know? Use apt-get instead of yum, then.

Manage to install it from Tar package, used generic package, unpacked and ./install, after that have to manually pot into the KDE or Gnome , using Menu Editor.
