changing screen resolutions


I'm running KDE 3.1 on Mandrake 9.1. I was wondering if there's any way to change my resolution from 1024x768 to 640x480 without having to logoff and restarting KDE.

try on xterm for XFree86-4.3.0 or above.

xrandr -s size
ex:
xrandr -s 800x600
