Can two user use X at the same time


Hi

I have two users and I want to switch between users using x

is it possible?
how?


how do I have to configure X ?
Sorry for the stupid questions but I'm

Ok, you can usually log in tty1-6 which can be accessed with [CTRL]-[ALT]-[F1] through [CTRL]-[ALT]-[F6]. The first X server you start is started with the command 'startx' and will normally run on [CTRL]-[ALT]-[F7], to open another go back down to command (eg [CTRL]-[ALT]-[F2]) and type 'startx -- :1' which will open in [CTRL]-[ALT]-[F8] and you can do 'startx-- :2' etc...

And if you want them both to use X at the same time (eg two monitors, keyboards and mice) on the machine you want to search for the backstreet ruby patches.
