Can I use two TV cards at the same time ?


Hi,
I have to two tv cards that are Linux supported. I want to know if I write a program to handle multiple tv cards, will it work properly ?

As far as I know it should work fine. Assuming that your cards are V4L supported, your inputs will be labeled with /dev/video0, /dev/video1, etc. This is also true for cards with multiple inputs.

Yes, this will work fine. Many people have done this with MythTV.

Mythtv is a wonderful program -- That program itself is well worth all the time and effort that it takes to learn Linux.
