Question Can't stop KDE/Mandrake 9.2 from blanking screen

I often use my TV card and don't want a screensaver to kick in. I just upgraded my system to 9.2 and have switched to KDE from Gnome. I can't seem to disable the scrensaver -- the screen blanks itself whether I wnt it to or not. Yes, I've tried the obvious (disabling the screensaver through the control panel) -- it did *nothing*. What am I missing here?

Take a look under the device section of your /etc/X11/XF86Config-4 file.
Code:
Section "Device"
    Identifier "device1"
    Driver "nvidia"
    Option "DPMS"
EndSection
I think removing the DPMS option may do the trick for you.
