Question Can't enable medium "update_source" in Mandrake's Software Media Manager

Hi geek community,
I have about 30 hours of experience on Linux and this may be the wrong way to ask about my problem-please correct me then.

Using Mandrake 9.2 I tried going in Mandrake Update, and got those two prompts in order :

"Welcome to MandrakeUpdate!

This tool will help you choose the updates you want to install on your
computer."

and then

"You already have at least one update medium configured, but
all of them are currently disabled. You should run the Software
Media Manager to enable at least one (check it in the Enabled?
column)."

Indeed I have 5 mediums in Software Media Manager, one is "updates" (I think I added this one) and another is "update_source". All are enabled except update_source. So I just clicked the checkbox, then "Ok".

The unexpected result is that nothing changes (same result in Mandrake Update, box is unchecked after reopening Software Media Manager). And I retried several times (and even rebooted since). So, it looks like a bug to me.

I searched for my error message on Google without any result, so maybe I'm missing something obvious here... I couldn't find documentation on Software Media Manager neither A link to documentation would already be helpful, a solution would make me even happier
