I've installed nvidia-glx-new 169.12 (with it's dev package
), verified that /etc/X11/XvMCCONFIG has "libXvMCNVIDIA_dynamic.so.1"
in it (does it need the path as well [I did try both]). I have the latest SVN.
When I try
Code:
"./configure --enable-xvmc-opengl --xvmc-lib=XvMCNVIDIA"
I get this message
Code:
Disabling XvMC-opengl. It is only available when linking against libXvMCNIVIDIA
(notice it's spelled wrong too).
Ubuntu 8.04
Nvidia geforce 6200 agp
SVN is 17294
My xorg.conf section
Code:
Section "Device"
Identifier "Configured Video Device"
Driver "nvidia"
Option "RenderAccel" "false"
Option "NvAGP" "1"
EndSection
Xorg.0.log says motion compensation has started. so I believe it's all working... perhaps it's a script thing? There was a reported but about this about 5 weeks ago, but that was supposedly fixed 5 weeks ago.
