i am intending to close the port ssh, sunrpc, unknown

I have closed a few ports initally and i wonder closing all this port will it affect the performance of amule..

Is there any accelerator that can make amule faster coz it is 0.6kb downloading slow.....

(The 1597 ports scanned but not shown below are in state: closed)
Port State Service
22/tcp open ssh
111/tcp open sunrpc
985/tcp open unknown

Closing these ports will have no effect on amule's performance. As far as I know the only way to modify the rates of transfer are to slide your caps in amule. Sometimes you have to accept that you are only getting 0.6KB/s because the only availible connection to download from only offers that much bandwidth to you. At the moment of writing three users, unknown to me, are each getting ~0.7KB/s from my machine because I allow only 2KB/s upload on my lame 56Kb modem between three users.
