Question buffer limit in the 8250 driver

Hi,

I m trying to boot the 2.6 kernel to the EncoreM3 board (MIPS AU1500 processor). I can see most of the kernel messages on the serial console driven by the UART 8250 driver. I noticed that the kernel messages are flushed to the serial console from the log buffer only when the total no. of characters in the log buf reaches a limit. Can someone tell me where I can reset this limit to another smaller value?

Thanks,
Ashlesha.
