Buddy Icons in Kopete

I recently upgraded to Slackware 10.2 which has Kopete 0.10.3.

I really like Kopete, BUT I can't figure out how to get it to show my "buddy icons" (I'm using the AIM protocol, BTW). How do I get them to show?

It would be Settings...show offline users.
Did I read that AOL is no longer allowing kopete to hook up to them? I know that Yahoo stopped it.
You may have to use Gaim. I could be wrong though.

Ok, no I just set up Kopete to see. All my buddy icons show.

No. . . I'm not sure you understand what I mean by "buddy icons".

In the AOL-supported client (at least the Mac and Windows versions) a user can set a small picture file as a "buddy icon" and when they talk to others, it will show the "buddy icon" in the lower corner. For example, a Green Day fan might have a picture of the cover of one of Green Day's albums as their buddy icon and everyone would see it when they're chatting with that person.

I've heard that this feature wasn't available in the older versions of Kopete, but was implemented just recently.

Oh. ok, I've never tried that. Let us know how it works when you figure it.
