bootable ISO problem


does anyone know a good program to make bootable cds from isos?

I tried making the Slack 10.1 cds with K3b and they will not boot. What does everyone else out there use?

This is a linux machine that I'm looking for a program for

Make sure your buning the files as an image and not just copying the .iso to the cd... also make sure your bios is set to boot cd...

I use cdrecord to burn .iso files...
cdrecord -v speed=4 dev=/dev/hdx -data Slackware_10.1.iso

Just record directly. making a CD from an ISO is just about the simplest thing you can do when burning a cd.

cdrecord dev=/dev/cdrw file.iso
