bochs on knoppix

i am trying to get bochs to run on knoppix. after creating the .bochsrc file i get this message:
Message: dlopen failed for module 'x': file not found.
strange because i have x11 and xorg and wxwidgets installed. x11 libs are in /usr/lib. any help would be appreciated. thanks in advance for your replys.

also in referring to X...are you running an ati or nvidia tainted kernel? and its associated tainted xorg file?

running ati radeon 9700 pro with open source radeon driver

ok well there is the host and the guest.

if we assume you have linux as a guest and that is where your error maybe its this
