bin errors, please help


im trying to exract a bin file but i keep getting this error please help, thanks.

Enter 'yes' to accept this agreement, 'no' to decline: yes
extracting /usr/steam/hlds_l_1120_full.tgz...
hlds_l_1120_full.bin: error extracting payload, No such file or directory
root@forever [/home/ecahost/hlds_l]#

i typed in ./hlds_l_1120_full.bin

and i even chmodded it 777

looks like a corrupt file, or buggy installation script...

I'd agree about the buggy installation script.

You execute the command in the /home/ecahost/hlds_l directory, but it's looking for the hlds_l_1120_full.tgz file in the /usr/steam directory. You'll need to double-check that the tgz file is where it's expected to be or see if there are any options you can give the bin file to specify a different location for the tgz file.
