Better dictionary for gnome-dictionary?

I am wondering if anyone knows of a source of another dictionary for the gnome-dictionary program? The one that came installed with Ubuntu is from 1913. Is there a way to feed another dictionary, like dictionary.com into this program?

Well, I got that far, but I don't know what things I can write in that dialog to access another dictionary. I could not find any homepage for GNOME dictionary, explaining where to get this information.
