Autopackage broke my GNOME unknown file type icon !

Ok this is the second time this happened.
I installed the stupid Autopackage and somehow it broke GNOME mime file type icons.

All the icons ore OK, but only the files with Type: unknown are this ugly gtk1 gray paper icons. I hate this.

It doesn't help if I change the icon theme, the ugly icons are on all the user and root accounts, so this issue must be system wide.

Is there any way to restore the GNOME mime or something ?
Or edit the mime config file... where is it ?

thanks

It's probably a bug in GNOME, try running (as root):

update-mime-database
update-desktop-database
touch /usr/share/icons

That'll force a refresh of various system databases.

Thank you, thank you, thank you.

I guess it is a GNOME bug.
