ATI Drivers not loading in X.Org
Before anyone gets me going: I know ATI has crappy drivers for linux, that doesn't answer my question, please don't say it.
Onward and upward. I'm running Fedora Core 2. Last night, through a variety of mysterious patches I was able to install the Linux drivers under X.Org in Fedora Core 2. I ran fglrxconfig, went through the standard, and then renamed the config file to xorg.conf. I loaded it up, ran fine. I ran fglrxinfo, and it said ATI Drivers and whatnot. So all was well. I loaded up glxgears and got acceptable framerates(4-5k+). However, this morning when I booted up, X.Org loaded the default MesaGL driver for some reason. I checked the config file and it was still set to load the ATI drivers, it hadn't changed a bit since last night. Any ideas?
Cheers
