The apt in debian has this problem in experimental. Downgrading apt helped for me. Don't know howe it works in fedora.

Have you installed the key for this repository?

wget http://svn.rpmforge.net/svn/branches...-KEY.freshrpms
rpm --import RPM-GPG-KEY.freshrpms

It sounds like that would fix your issue

ok that fixed the yumk issue part of my issue with apt-get is after the install it does the mirrorselect and none of the mirrors it gives me work properly i get a bunch of 404 not found errors so when i tried to make my own list i was getting the gpg errors but yum is working now so maybe i can wing it till i get it figured out.

I tend to have quite a few problems with YUM myself, if you want to use apt/synaptic it is quite easy(and I think nicer with a GUI), I use the following /etc/apt/sources.list file:

rpm http://ayo.freshrpms.net/ fedora/linux/3/i386 core updates freshrpms
rpm http://apt.atrpms.net/ fedora/3/en/i386 at-stable
rpm http://wftp.tu-chemnitz.de/pub/linux/dag/ fedora/3/en/i386 dag
rpm http://wftp.tu-chemnitz.de/pub/linux/dag/ dries/fedora/fc3/i386 dries

Don't forget to import the keys for each of these repositories if you use them this way as well.
