apache2 add webdav after compile

Hi,

We are running apache 2.2.3. I compiled it from source with the following:
./configure --enable-so --enable-ssl --disable-cgi --disable-include --disable-userdir --disable-actions --disable-cgid --disable-charset-lite --disable-imagemap

So as you can see, I have the --enable-so in the configure statement.

We now need WebDav support on this web server. What is the easiest way for me to add webdav support? I would like to simply get the .so file and put it in the modules/ directory and then include it in the .conf file. However, I don't know how to get the .so file.

What can I do?

Thanks.

The easiest way would be to just recompile apache with the "--enable-dav" flag. You can just run the configure script and then make and make install while apache is still running, then just stop and start apache once the make install is completed so apache isn't down during the whole process.
