apache question about photo albums

i have apache auto generate index files on my web server its pretty much default slackware apache. when i go to a directory of photos it lists the files instead of having a cute little photo album. how does one change that. i seen websites saying image magick and ive taken two stabs at getting something going. any suggestions are welcome!

You need to install PHP and download a photo album script on the Net. Apache is not a photo album software, it is a web server running web applications. The PHP script will requier imagemagick to be installed in most cases, other will use some AJAX library and will scale images on the client, it work, but will take more bandwidth (slower load time).

i have php installed, and image magick. can you point at specific php script plz. with specific script do i drop it in as the index of the photo directory?
