hi all
i just installed pclos 2009 on my aao andi have my 3.2gb of oggs copied now
so i told amarok to rescan collection and it found acdc but i expanded it and there was only black ice there should be loads of others like for those about to rock we salute you and others they are in /home/daniel/music/rock/acdc/ and amarok only finds black ice its inbuilt browser finds others so how do i add them???

In the Settings menu open Configure Amarok and then click on "Collection" in the left-hand pane. Make sure that the correct parent folder is checked and that the Scan folders recursively checkbox is checked. Then do a Rescan Collection from the Tools menu and you should get all your collection recognised.

ok i have a little more info it comes under unknown but it is in /home/me/Music/acdc/For those about to rock we salute you whick is other same with all my vinyls but black ice (same path just black ice not for those about to rock) is found and put under AC-DC/Black Ice
im using songbird now anyway
If I understood You, Amarok put other albums as if they were unknown album? Are album tags set for those songs?
sorry i didnt explain well...
all my oggs that wernet ripped off cd are in unkonwn unknown in amarok but cds are there proper names and i have tried to set tags and things but there are over 100 tracks in there...
