Just installed the trustix 2.0 distro. Apache and PHP4 were 'ticked' to be installed. Apache now wont run :
Code:
$ apachectl start
Syntax error on line 2 of /etc/httpd/conf.d/httpd-mod_php4.conf: Cannot load /usr/lib/apache/libphp4.so into server: /lib/libbz2.so.1.0: no such file or directory
So I copy libbz2.so.1.0 from another distro into /lib/, and restart apache, to get this;
Code:
$ apachectl start
Syntax error on line 2 of /etc/httpd/conf.d/httpd-mod_php4.conf: Cannot load /usr/lib/apache/libphp4.so into server: /lib/libbz2.so.1.0: invalid ELF header
Hmmm, try editing the httpd.conf, located at /etc/apache. It's a line similar with a lot of "LoadModule". One of them is for php3, another for php4 module. Make sure they are uncommented.
In my new fresh install of Libranet, I had to type "php4" at the console to start php, then apache (apachectl start) to get php running :S.

Sounds like you need to install bz2 from the Trustix distro, not just copy that file from another. Apparently, the file from the other distro was compiled with different headers.
