Any programs out there like Expose and Konfabulator?
Hey all,
I have messed with Scientific Linux now for a bit, and am using MEPIS just recently.
Are there any programs like the Mac OSX Expose? and are there any like the Mac and Windows Konfabulator that have widgets and such? I like those, and they are hand to have when I'm using a ton of open windows...my problem is I have no idea how one would go about programming such things.
Can you explain what expose is, because I think there is something similar,
I just want to make sure that we are talking about the same thing. For widgets
look for superkaramba.
basically you hit F9, or whatever you set it to be, and all the open windows are "tiled" onto the screen, then you can click on the one that you want in front, and they comeback up.
Superkaramba is built into KDE3.5 if you already have it, or if you
need another reason to upgrade, otherwise there should be a package out
for MEPIS, although I don't know how that works for MEPIS!
