Any administrative tool for Active Directory from Linux?
Hallo:
I'm looking for an administrative tool for Active Directory from Linux. The only I've found are the one of MicroSoft an Hyena, but both are for windows.
żDo you now any for Linux? I'm using Linux and every time I've to manage the AD, I've to open a Windows session.
Thanks
Felipe

Reason: Forgot it was a question
I use windows terminal server in 2003. I connect via rdp and open it if I need to administrate. But this only if you domain admin and can login on domain controller. If not you can use another 2003 server without DC role with AD administrating tools installed.
Yes, Likewise Software does do Linux Active Directory integration so you can join Linux workstations and servers to Active Directory, which would allow domain accounts to log into Linux systems. In turn, user accounts can be managed in one centralized location. This is all part of the Likewise Open solution, which is open source and free.
However, the Administration Console for Linux is part of the licensed Enterprise solution which, like you said, is not free.
Let me know if you have any questions regarding Likewise Software, though.
